Basler back in the writing room!Well it has been a while but Basler is back in the writing room and focusing on a new release! It has been a few years now since "Alone came out and now Basler is back at it again with some new songs sure to surprise fans! "The first album was a breakup album of sorts. All the songs on it have a bit to do with heartache" Says Cameron. "I want to focus this time on fun and melodies. Good grooves and beats, that kind of thing. There will still be a heavier side to the new songs since guitar is my main writing tool but I don't want to be tied down to one style of music. I would like to incorportate everything I love into a style of my own that is different that previous music I have made. I have been playing alot of different styles of music over that last little while and have found what really appeals to me is great vocal performances mixed with heavy groove, so that is the kind of thing I will be shooting towards. |
